This is the second time we have brewed this porter, but this time I decided to add some additional chocolate malt as well as some black patent. |

I liked this batch better then the last. The previous was a little too sweet. It has been in the keg on tap for about 2 weeks now and is getting better with each passing day. Next go around I think I will follow the same process but ½ the black patent as I think there is a bit too much of a roasted flavor. |

Best batch of porter I have done so far (of course it is only the 2nd one). Really like this recipe and will do it again. As I commented before I think I will use less black patent next time around. |
